TWSE Chairman Sherman Lin Leads TIB Delegation to the US, with TruePulse Capital Facilitating Engagements with Leading Bay Area Venture Capital Decision-Makers
To advance the internationalization of the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB) and gather first-hand market feedback on cross-border listings, dual listings, and the capital market development of innovative enterprises, Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TWSE) Chairman Sherman Lin recently led a TWSE delegation to the United States for a series of strategic discussions.
The two-day program was organized by TruePulse Capital Advisory, an independent capital markets advisory and equity research firm specializing in capital market strategy, investor positioning, and international investor relations. Held across the San Francisco Bay Area, the program featured a series of one-on-one closed-door meetings with leading venture capital firms, including managing partners and senior investment decision-makers.
Discussions focused on global technology trends, the growth paths of innovation-driven companies, and potential areas of cooperation across international capital markets.
Unlike conventional overseas roadshows centered on fundraising or investment promotion, the program was designed as a strategic dialogue on capital market structures, investor requirements, and cross-border listing frameworks. Through direct engagement with U.S. venture capital leaders, the TWSE delegation gained deeper insight into the evolving capital market needs of innovation-driven companies at different stages of growth, as well as industry views on the future international development of Taiwan’s capital markets.
During the meetings, Chairman Lin highlighted the recent development of Taiwan’s capital markets and the country’s critical role in the global semiconductor, artificial intelligence, and technology supply chain ecosystems.
Participating venture capital firms also shared the key factors considered by their portfolio companies when evaluating potential listing venues, including market liquidity, regulatory transparency, access to follow-on financing, equity research coverage, and the depth and composition of the investor base.
Several participants noted that, as global technology supply chains continue to evolve and the strategic importance of Asian markets increases, Taiwan’s highly developed technology ecosystem, mature capital markets, and active investor community provide a compelling platform for high-growth, technology-driven companies.
